Wood Hyacinth Blue 10 pcs. - ORGANIC

€ 4.95

Hyacinthoides hispanica, or the Spanish wood hyacinth was already described in the 17th century. It originates from Spain, Portugal and North Africa. Suitable for naturalizing under trees, in the grass and in borders. Unlike the hyacinthus orientalis, this Spanish beauty is not fragrant. The blue wood hyacinth forms attractive bunches of shiny thread-shaped foliage from which the tall stems with an abundance of bell-shaped deep purple flowers rise. The racemes have up to 15 flowers with backwards bent petals that dangle gracefully from a small stem. It tolerates sun and shade, however the colours make the most impact on a partly shady spot.
