The Pheasant's eye originates from Southern Europe and the West Balkan. The stem of this small-flowered daffodil has a slight twist at the top, and the bright white and precisely formed petals are slightly bent backwards. It is named for its small golden yellow cup with the red rim in the heart of the bloom. This long-flowering jewel flowers until late in the season. It looks fantastic in a sunny border, preferably in moist soil. Plant this Poet's Daffodil with its blueish green thread-shaped foliage in numbers and enjoy a lovely scented garden.
