The flowers grow in loose clusters with star-shaped petals in a particular creamy light apricot colour.
Up to 15 sweet-smelling flowers grow on one stalk. The flowers close for the night and stay closed in dark weather. Ixia Eos loves well-drained soil in a border or pot in a sunny place. A cheerful little flower, in the garden as well as in a vase.
