The petals look as if they have been blown away by their own trumpet. This is one of the most striking miniature daffodils. The trumpets, of the large flowers, are of a radiant yelloworange colour. The petals are a lively yellow and the thread-shaped are fresh green. This little but strong flower produces several stems from each bulb and one flower on each stem. When other little plants are in flower, this tulip brightens up the early spring garden. It prefers well-drained fertile garden soil and thrives under trees, in a rock garden, or in a container. This arrangement flower multiplies when given proper care.
