Allium Nigrum 5 pcs.-ORGANIC

€ 4.95

Allium Nigrum means black onion. The name comes from the little black bullets in the heart of each flower. They come out black, but it turns into little cheerful green eyes in the heart of the soft white star-shaped flowers. This allium from the Middle East has dome-shaped blooms on a strong stem. Every plant has 3-6 lancet shaped leaves. After the bloom, the decorative seed heads remain an interesting feature. Allium Nigrum does not have the strong smell of onion or garlic, like most of the species. The Allium Multibulbosum, under which name it is also known, brings structure, dimension, and colour into your garden at a time when the spring flowers come to their end. It is known for attracting insects, low in maintenance, multiplies freely, and will grace your garden for many weeks. This heritage, from 1762, is a stunning plant that suits any garden or vase.
